Manga Debut Chapter 1

Five years before the start of the story, the parents of Fury, Wraith, and Edel were killed by the Frankenstein Titan. He and Wraith eventually kill Titan, but both were mortally wounded during the fight. Hildegard Peaberry found him, and turned him into a Frankenstein for the purpose of destroying all other Frankensteins, especially Doktor Richter's "Ultimate Eight". She gave him special powers and made him the 9th special type. They travel to London on his quest to destroy all of the Frankensteins, including his former friend Wraith, who, after becoming a Frankenstein, killed Edel.

Skills and Abilities[]

Knifemanship: Even before he was turned into a Frankenstein by Dr. Peaberry, Fury was noted to possess a high degree of skill in the use of knives. After being revived, Fury would combine his knife-wielding abilities with his enhanced physical condition and Specialized Motor System to increase his fighting capabilities to the point where he could kill most Frankenstein with relative ease.

Wilderness Survivalist: Having lived in the harsh, snowy mountains for almost his entire life and being trained to be a gamekeeper by Shade Jason, Fury is very knowledgeable of the outdoors.

Frankenstein Detection: Fury seems to possess the ability to sense and even pinpoint the location of nearby Frankensteins, making hunting them down all the easier.

Superhuman Strength & Durability: Being a Frankenstein, Fury possesses an extremely powerful body that is impervious to regular weaponry. In fact, Fury has enough physical strength and tenacity that he can easily stop a one-ton axe being wielded by a Frankenstein designed specifically to be strong.

Superhuman Speed & Agility: Having the Specialized Motor System, Fury's faster then most Frankenstein, being able to move at the speed of lightning. This quickness, combined with his ability to create electric afterimages, makes it so only the most powerful of Frankestein can track his movements.

Superhuman Reflexes: By using his Specialized Motor System, Fury can control the flow of electricity within his body to increase the efficiency of his central nervous system, dramatically boosting his reaction time and thus allowing him to take better advantage of his enhanced mobility.

Specialized Motor System: Referred to by Dr. Peaberry as the "Ninth Specialized Frankenstein", Fury possesses the "Ultimate Motor System" which grants him a superhuman nervous system.

  • Scarf of Lightning: Using the electricity coming from the plug bolt in his neck, Fury's neck becomes wrapped in a scarf-like lightning bolt known simply as as the "Scarf of Lightning".
    • Electric Discharge: Allowing him to emit massive volts of electricity from his body. These blasts of electricity are not only capable of severely burning the bodies of other Frankenstein, but can also damage their circuitry enough to allow Fury to deal a finishing blow using his knives.
    • Electric Afterimage: Whilst his Scarf of Lightning is active, Fury's gains a massive boost in his motor muscle functions, enhancing his movement speed to where he becomes imperceptible to the naked eye, leaving behind electricity-based afterimages in the process.
    • Galvanic/Corpse Current Mastery: Later in the story, Fury gains the ability to use his Specialized Motor System to create and manipulate a form of Galvanic Current (also known as "Corpse Current") which not only allows him to remotely control parts of his body that have been severed, but also grants him the power to levitate and fly through the air.

Personality[]

As his name implies, Fury has inside of him a deep and powerful rage. When it unleashes, he goes nearly mad, cutting down every enemy in front of him in a blind anger. He is otherwise surprisingly gentle, protecting people and trying to be as nice as he can to avoid scaring them.

After his transformation into a Frankenstein, he retained all of his memories, but his personality seems to have been affected. Now his bursts of rage and anger were even greater and more frequent, so much so that Wraith commented that he had become obsessed with revenge.

He hates all Frankensteins for what they did to the living. He also hates Frankenstein creators who went mad with their warped desires by killing living people. Fury is angered on how Frankensteins and their creators view the living as materials for research and their disregard for them. He vowed to kill all the Frankensteins along side their creators until none of them are left, regardless of who protects them.

Fury respect for life is so huge that he hates the ones who disregard it. He believes that people should live and die on their own accord and not resurrect as a walking plague among the living.

He is constantly fascinated by modern technology, leading many characters to consider Fury a "hick."
